I read voraciously. I consume books at two to three a week, and sometimes even faster. The Good Twin is a gripping thriller that had me totally consumed. I started, and then couldn’t stop.
Without giving too much away, let me tell you a little bit
about this fascinating and chilling story.
Summer and Skye are identical twins.
They live in a perfect family, with a Mum, Dad and little sister until
things start to go wrong. Their Mum dies
suddenly causing the family to fracture.
Skye decides she still wants to take up her place at university, while
Summer feels she cannot leave home yet.
Lonely and missing her twin, Skye meets a guy of her age
online and after messaging for a good while, they finally decide to meet. She wants to look her best, because she
really wants him to like her.
Not all is what it seems and Summer’s life is changed forever.
The story is told in two parts, one starting with Summer’s
meetup, and the other seven year’s later with their Dad’s second wedding.
Even if you guess the whodunnit, I promise you will never be
able to guess the poignant ending, that left me feeling intensely emotional.
I am so tempted to tell you more about The Good Twin a story which kept me gripped on all sorts of levels, but if I do, then I might spoil the book for you.
Let us just say, be careful of who you trust, and understand
that simple choices today may have consequences for years to come.
