Dream it and do it!

Sometimes you simply have to dream it – and then do it.  I am delighted to be back with a Wednesday quotation  blog post and from my home country of South Africa.

Eight months ago I had a dream to come back to South Africa and spend time with my childhood friend.  We have known each other since we were 3 or 4 years old.  Friendships like this are really precious.  They don’t just happen though, they have to be nurtured.  Bev and I do exactly that.

A Dream of a Different Future

Over this past year I have had a lot of time to think about my future.  Due to my health concerns everything has had to be re-evaluated.  Bev who is an amazing coach has worked with me to find a path that will give me joy, use my brain and honour my body.

We just knew that we had to be in the same room.  Our dream was to create  a fabulous event, celebrating women who, like us are determined to overcome life’s curveballs. In business and in life.

Fabulous Women are positive, they uplift each other and celebrate joy.

We dreamed it, took action and now I am sitting alongside my old friend drinking tea!

What you think, you become.

What you feel, you attract.

What you imagine, you create.

This quote really sums up my journey this year, the wonderful people who have come into my life and the event we have created.

I will certainly be sharing feedback from the event which is fully booked and takes place next week.

Thank you for reading and I hope you are inspired by this Wednesday Quotation.

There was a huge part of me fighting against turning anything like fifty. It happens though and there is nothing we can do to fight it. Well we can’t fight the chronology of years and minutes ticking by but we can stay fabulous. I try to be fabulous, despite having a few things I am fighting against like RA, Diabetes and Pernicious Anaemia. This blog is simply about me embracing life. Food, make-up, fashion and more. My trials and tribulations. I hope you enjoy!
